Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data AeroFluid Dynamics collects when you use aerofluid.in and its subdomains, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
It is written to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, because a policy you cannot understand protects nobody.
01Who we are
AeroFluid is an engineering education platform operated by AeroFluid Dynamics, a sole proprietorship registered in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, AeroFluid Dynamics is the Data Fiduciary in respect of the personal data described in this policy, and you are the Data Principal.

Information generated as you use the platform

03What we never collect
We do not collect, see, process or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, net-banking password or any other payment credential. These are entered directly into Razorpay's payment environment and never reach AeroFluid's servers. What we receive back from Razorpay is a payment reference, the amount, and whether the payment succeeded.
We also do not collect biometric data, precise location, contacts, photographs, call logs, or any data from your device beyond the ordinary technical information a web browser sends to any website.
04Why we use it
- to create and operate your account and authenticate your logins;
- to grant and enforce access to the content you have purchased;
- to record and display your practice progress, scores and history;
- to process payments, issue receipts and maintain the order record;
- to send service communications — verification codes, receipts, password resets, notices about content you have bought, and changes to these policies;
- to respond to support requests and grievances;
- to send optional updates about new subjects, products or offers, where you have consented — you may withdraw that consent at any time;
- to detect, investigate and prevent fraud, credential sharing, scraping and unauthorised redistribution of paid content;
- to understand aggregate usage so we can improve the platform;
- to comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not use your personal data to make any automated decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
05Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the following bases:

Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by writing to support@aerofluid.in. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal, and may mean we can no longer provide parts of the service.
06Who we share it with
AeroFluid does not sell, rent or trade personal data to advertisers, data brokers or any other third party for their own commercial purposes.
We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only to the extent needed to run the platform:

We may also disclose personal data where required by law, court order, or a lawful request from a government authority; where necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim; or to protect the rights, property or safety of AeroFluid, our users or the public.
If the business is transferred or reorganised, personal data may transfer as part of that transaction. We would notify registered users before any such transfer takes effect.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track you across unrelated websites.
08How we protect it
We apply reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, including:
- encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) between your browser and our servers;
- one-way hashing of passwords, so stored passwords cannot be reversed;
- access controls limiting who may reach production data;
- keeping payment credentials entirely outside our systems, as described in section 3.
No system can be guaranteed absolutely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@aerofluid.in immediately and change your password.
09How long we keep it

10Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to:
- access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
- correct data that is inaccurate, and complete data that is incomplete;
- erase your personal data where it is no longer required for the purpose it was collected, subject to records we must retain by law;
- withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent;
- nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity;
- raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer, and thereafter with the Data Protection Board of India if you remain dissatisfied.
To exercise any right, write to support@aerofluid.in from your registered email address. We will verify your identity before acting and will respond within a reasonable period, ordinarily not exceeding 30 days.
Requesting erasure of your account data will remove your practice history and, where the content is streamed rather than downloaded, may end your access to material you have purchased. We will tell you if that is the case before proceeding.
11Children
The platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data of a child without verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, and we do not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.
If you believe a child has provided personal data to us without appropriate consent, write to support@aerofluid.in and we will delete it.
12Where data is stored
Account, purchase and practice data is held on cloud infrastructure located in India. Some service providers — for example email delivery — may process limited data outside India. Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure the data is handled consistently with this policy and applicable law, and any transfer is subject to restrictions notified by the Government of India from time to time.
13Breach notification
In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and each affected user in the manner and within the timelines required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules made under it.
14Third-party links
The platform links to external services including our Instagram, YouTube, Telegram, LinkedIn, and Facebook channels, and to the Razorpay checkout. This policy does not govern those services. Please review their own privacy policies before providing them with personal data.
15Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform, our providers or the law change. The revision date at the top shows when the current version took effect. Where a change is material — for example a new category of data or a new recipient — we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users by email before it takes effect.
16Contact and grievance officer
For any question about this policy, to exercise a right under section 10, or to raise a formal privacy grievance, contact us using the details below. We aim to acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India constituted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
